Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Maxwell Group, Inc. as a Person Centered Care Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to residents, focusing on their unique needs and interests while preserving their dignity and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, transporting, and transfers.
  2. Assist with dining, including escorting, transferring, order taking, serving, feeding, meal preparation, and clean up.
  3. Provide housekeeping services, including bed making, trash removal, laundry, room and bathroom cleaning as needed, and requests from residents.
  4. Lead and assist with life enrichment activities with guidance and support from Life Enrichment Leaders and Supervisors.
  5. Escort residents to scheduled programming and may participate in outings and day trips.
  6. Take and record vital signs and weights as ordered or required by regulations.
  7. Participate in and attend all in-service training and education programs as scheduled.

Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, you must have:

  • State Certification as a Nursing Assistant.
  • Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
  • Two years' experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
  • Ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions:

This position is very active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. You will be required to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs. and ability to push up to 250 pounds independently. Proper body mechanics are essential to assist residents in their daily living.
