Host/Hostess Job Description

Mollie Aspen is seeking a highly organized and friendly Host/Hostess to join our team. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the waitlist and take care of reservations
  • Welcome guests and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Assist with front-of-house duties and maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Cultivate fluency in verbiage for the waitlist, reservation policies, and procedures
  • Monitor restaurant and kitchen flow and assist when necessary
  • Report guest complaints to management and follow steps of service for navigating complaints
  • Build a thorough knowledge of food and beverage items and their preparation
  • Represent Mollie Aspen graciously and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Requirements:
  • Excellent guest service and problem-resolution skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Spanish language preferred
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
