Chenega Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Family Practice Physician to join our team in a locum tenens capacity. As a Family Practice Physician with Chenega Corporation, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population, including routine check-ups, sick visits, and chronic disease management.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal health outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding and coordination of care.
- Document patient encounters, diagnoses, and treatment plans accurately and efficiently.
- Meet productivity and quality standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Current, full, and unrestricted medical licensure in a state, District of Columbia, or territory of the United States.
- Successful completion of a residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and practice management systems.
