Surgical Technologist Instructor Opportunity

A prestigious higher education institution in Maumee, OH, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Technologist Instructor to join their esteemed faculty. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures, laboratory, and clinical instruction in the surgical technology program.
  • Mentor students to ensure they meet course objectives and develop practical skills.
  • Prepare and provide instruction according to the required curriculum.
  • Monitor student attendance and provide timely feedback on performance.
  • Develop individualized success plans for at-risk students.
  • Maintain professional relationships with faculty, administration, and the community.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in the field.
  • Must have an Associate's degree or higher.
  • Licensed MBSTSA or NCCT preferred.
  • Teaching background is a plus; dynamic lecture ability is essential.
  • Expected hours are approximately 8 AM to 5 PM.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to commute to the Maumee, OH campus.
