Solar Technician

Origis Energy is a leading renewable energy company accelerating the transition to a carbon-free future. As a Solar Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting solar power plants to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

• Maintain and troubleshoot solar power plants to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
• Perform daily mechanical and electrical inspections to identify potential issues
• Test and repair equipment as needed to ensure proper working order
• Document work orders, service orders, and time logs to track progress and maintenance
• Manage inventory control of assigned equipment to ensure adequate stock levels
• Train and mentor laborers to develop their skills and knowledge
• Stay up-to-date with continuing education and training to meet safety and plant requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 3 years of suitable employment experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to perform basic electrical calculations and read electrical schematics
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow with minimal supervision
• Ability to perform physical activity, including lifting up to 80 Lbs
• Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
