About the Position

The City of Apopka is seeking a skilled Civil Project Designer to join our team and help us build a better future for our residents. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing infrastructure projects, including transportation systems, water resources management, and public facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing infrastructure projects, including transportation systems, water resources management, and public facilities
  • Collaborating with the design team to create innovative and effective solutions for infrastructure projects
  • Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including city officials, engineers, contractors, and the public

You will also have the opportunity to:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in civil engineering, urban planning, or a related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk, and other relevant software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
