Position Summary
The Speech Pathologist plays a vital role in assessing, treating, and preventing disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing. This position involves working with patients across all age groups.

Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct comprehensive evaluations based on patient age, diagnosis, and clinical information.
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician directives.
3. Administer therapy treatment procedures safely and effectively.
4. Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in a timely manner.
5. Collaborate with healthcare team members to address patients' functional needs.
6. Educate patients and their families regarding care requirements during daily activities.
7. Participate in continuing education to stay updated on new treatment methodologies.

Qualifications
Required:
- Current California Speech Pathologist license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) within 60 days of hire/transfer.

Additional Requirements
- For those assigned to the Infant, Pediatric, and Adolescent Units, one year of relevant experience is preferred.
- For Home Health assignments, a valid California Driver's License and auto insurance are necessary.

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $47.35 - $71.03.
