Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team at Great Wolf Lodge. As a Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall satisfaction of our event and meeting guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of banquet set-up and servers to ensure seamless service.
  • Read and interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and follow instructions from the Banquet Manager.
  • Facilitate and lead departmental meetings to discuss event details and service standards.
  • Establish the Order of Service and follow service standards as directed by the Banquet Manager.
  • Assign service stations to banquet servers and ensure all assigned side-work and pre-work is completed before leaving.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a server and a strong understanding of banquet service.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.
