Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Portland, Oregon. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that promote optimal physical function and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' physical status, functional abilities, and age-specific needs to determine current levels of functioning and quality of life.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Promote patient education and empowerment through effective communication, clear documentation, and timely follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with departmental guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, share knowledge, and enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program with a Doctoral degree (DPT) or equivalent.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of Oregon, with the ability to obtain licensure in Washington within six months.
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI) required at hire.
  • BLS certification within two months of hire.
  • Basic to moderate computer skills for electronic documentation and data entry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent experience with evaluation and treatment of patients with neuromuscular dysfunction.
  • Orthopedic skills, including manual therapy and exercise prescription.
  • Group dynamics and leadership experience.
  • Advanced degree in a related field, such as orthopedics or neurology.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $73,000 - $93,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
