Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Outfitter to provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge to our customers at Bass Pro Shops in St. Augustine, Florida.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide world-class customer service, ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and provide recommendations to customers
  • Replenish product on shelves as required
  • Remain knowledgeable of advertised sales and maintain pricing and signing
  • Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves
  • Restock merchandise as required
  • Keep work area clean, neat, and well-stocked with supplies
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Provide legendary customer service by identifying and evaluating customers' needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs
Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • Ability to calculate figures and make change to customers
  • Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers
  • Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system
Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly stand and/or walk during shift
  • Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, etc.
  • Constantly communicate with others to exchange information
  • Occasionally repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Occasionally operate machinery and/or power tools
  • Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly, may occasionally move and lift objects up to 100 pounds or more
