Job Summary

The Night Auditor is a key member of our hotel team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and auditing processes during the overnight shift. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk during the overnight shift, handling guest check-ins, check-outs, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Auditing and Reporting: Conduct daily audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions, prepare and balance reports, and identify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Security and Safety: Conduct regular security walks to ensure the hotel's safety and security, and report any incidents or concerns to management.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, such as preparing reports, balancing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field (e.g., hospitality, accounting) is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with a strong background in auditing and financial management.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Certifications: Knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing software.
