Heavy Duty Diesel Equipment Technician

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty diesel equipment to ensure safety compliance and operational efficiency.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance: Complete routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire checks, and lubrication to prevent equipment failure.
- Diagnostic Troubleshooting: Identify root causes of basic failures and perform repairs as required.
- Equipment Inspections: Ensure equipment meets regulatory standards by inspecting brake systems, steering mechanisms, and other critical components.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Install, Replace, and Repair Onboard Computers: Update and maintain electronic systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Train and Guide Other Mechanics: Share knowledge and expertise to support team members in their roles.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A minimum educational requirement for the position.
- 3-5 Years of Experience: Proven track record of medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and electronic component repair.
