About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing trash and recyclables.
  • Utilize protective gear and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Respond to the paging system in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact positively with residents, staff, and facility guests.
  • Work collaboratively with the facilities team to ensure the establishment meets the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Must live in the service area.
