Position Overview:
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for conducting radiographic examinations on in-patients, out-patients, and emergency room patients.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education, Certification, and/or Licensure:
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Must possess state licensure and ARRT certification.
  • CPR certification is mandatory.

Core Responsibilities:
The following duties outline the general nature of work performed by individuals in this position. This list is not exhaustive and may include additional responsibilities:
  • Conduct radiographic examinations for in-patients, out-patients, and emergency room cases.
  • Instruct patients and staff on proper procedures and preparations for examinations.
  • Ensure x-ray rooms are maintained and ready for use.
  • Assist radiologists in performing diagnostic procedures.
  • Carry out scheduled quality control tasks.
  • Practice effective radiation safety measures.
  • Operate the CR system and ensure that examinations are transmitted to PACS for interpretation.
  • Demonstrate clinical skills, including catheterizations and contrast media injections.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork related to patient examinations.

  • Basic computer skills for effective documentation.
