Behavioral Specialist for Autism Therapy

Virtus Health is seeking a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at our Port Charlotte facility.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include paid time off, holiday pay, medical and dental insurance, and 401K.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about working with children diagnosed with Autism or other developmental disabilities. As an RBT, you will work one-on-one with clients to implement individualized treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing ABA therapy sessions to increase desired skills and decrease challenging behaviors
- Collecting data on client's behaviors and skill acquisition
- Working collaboratively with the BCBA to ensure client success
- Maintaining accurate clinical session notes and daily documentation
To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma and a prior stable work history as a Special Needs Paraprofessional or Registered Behavior Technician. You should also be able to receive feedback and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
