HomeCare By Design is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide exceptional care to our clients in their homes.

As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and independence of individuals who require assistance with daily living activities. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks designed to promote comfort, safety, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with ambulation and mobility, including accompanying them to appointments and walks.
  • Provide support with physical therapy exercises as instructed by healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with clients in meal planning and preparation, taking dietary restrictions into account.
  • Accompany clients on shopping trips or assist with grocery errands.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized living environment.
  • Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversations to provide emotional support.
  • Report any unusual incidents or changes in the client's condition promptly.
  • Respond effectively and responsibly in emergency situations.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a caregiver or in a similar role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of emergency response procedures and first aid (CPR certification preferred).
  • Familiarity with housekeeping tasks and meal preparation, considering dietary needs.
  • Commitment to adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Empathetic and compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management abilities and organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) certification is a plus.
