Job Title: Paralegal Non-Profit Law Firm Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paralegal to join our team at Legal Services of North Florida. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys in providing high-quality legal services to low-income and vulnerable individuals in our communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys in preparing and filing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and appeals
  • Conduct client interviews and gather information to support legal cases
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed case files and records
  • Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless case management
  • Participate in community outreach and education efforts to promote access to justice
Requirements:
  • Completion of a legal assistant or paralegal program approved by the American Bar Association
  • One year of experience in a legal setting, preferably in civil litigation or administrative law
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
