Aegis Living is in search of a Culinary Supervisor to deliver exceptional meals and care to our senior residents.

The Culinary Supervisor will oversee key kitchen operations, preparing delightful dishes that cater to the preferences of our residents using diverse cooking techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Your Role:
Prepare and cook meals

Foster a structured environment and offer guidance in the absence of the Culinary Services Director.

Efficiently manage food supplies and organize workstations with all necessary ingredients prior to meal preparation.

Implement portion control and reduce waste to maintain budgetary goals for recipes.

Ensure compliance with all required documentation, including time/temperature logs, menus, and invoices.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness

Assist in serving meals to residents

Train and develop new kitchen staff

Potential for promotion to Culinary Services Director

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cook or Line/Prep Cook

Preferred background as a Culinary Supervisor

Experience in managing food inventory is a plus

Must be at least 18 years old

Proven experience in food preparation and production

Ability to meet all health and safety regulations

Willingness to undergo a 2-step TB test
