Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
  • Perform various laboratory tests and therapeutic services to support patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management, self-care, and follow-up care.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credential from the Florida Board of Nursing or Alabama Board of Nursing, depending on the state of employment.
  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of relevant experience.
