Job Summary

We are seeking a strong Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Fulton County Jail - South Annex located in Union City, GA. As a RN with NaphCare, you will play a critical role in our continuing mission to be the leading provider of quality healthcare in the correctional industry.

Responsibilities
  • Take and document all patient history and vital signs
  • Perform and document all patient history and vital signs, mental health screenings and/or evaluations
  • Respond to and initiate care for medical and mental health emergencies
  • Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures, patient assessments, examinations and/or treatment
  • Initiate and document prescribed protocol agreement
  • Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility
  • Observe and evaluate the performance of the licensed practical/vocational nursing staff
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred
