RN Hospital Director Quality Management

At Mass General Brigham, we're seeking a seasoned Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our Case Management Program as Director. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and managing the activities of the Case Management Program for North Shore Medical Center. The Director will oversee the development and supervision of staff, evaluate and maintain case management skills and outcomes, manage all policies and procedures, and ensure adherence to key model components that drive outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical and financial outcomes, proficiency in data analytics, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will also possess excellent administrative skills to supervise and develop staff, plan, organize, direct, and evaluate. Additionally, the Director will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assure quality, timely, and cost-efficient care. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of progressive management experience with demonstrated goal-oriented outcomes, as well as leadership and change management experience. Case Management experience is preferred. The Director will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive the best care possible by working on digital health experience, analyzing big data to streamline the delivery of care, and reaching out to medically complex patients to better understand their needs. The Director will also be responsible for connecting premier hospitals and health professionals to help serve patients and communities with high-quality, safe, and accessible care. The successful candidate will be a team player who is committed to excellence and has a passion for delivering high-quality care. They will be fluent in English and have proficiency in using computers and ability to quickly gain competency in various software applications, including hospital-specific applications, Microsoft Office, cell phone, and pager. The Director will be responsible for managing a team of RNs, SWs, and non-clinical support staff, and will be expected to demonstrate performance agility in a continuously changing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, visitors, nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members. The Director will be responsible for ensuring that the Case Management Program is aligned with the organization's goals and objectives, and will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve these goals. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the importance of quality, safety, and patient satisfaction, and will be able to demonstrate these values in their work.
