Project Engineer at B&B Concrete

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team at B&B Concrete. In this role, you will play a vital part in the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and protocols on construction sites.
  • Cost Management: Gain familiarity with project budgets, cost estimates, and track expenses diligently.
  • Scheduling & Sequencing: Contribute to the development of project schedules and monitor progress against established timelines.
  • Quantity Tracking: Accurately record and monitor materials used and work completed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Production Analysis: Analyze construction productivity, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare comprehensive project cost reports and effectively communicate with stakeholders, including general contractors and clients.
  • Procurement & Administration: Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment, process invoices, and manage change orders.
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with construction managers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications:
  • 0-5 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of construction principles and practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
