Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate Caregivers/Cooks to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents by providing essential care and support. Your culinary skills will also contribute to creating delicious and nutritious meals that enhance the overall living experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a sense of connection and belonging.
  • Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff.
  • Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Assist residents with mobility and transfers, promoting independence and reducing the risk of falls.
  • Support residents with memory care needs, utilizing person-centered approaches that respect their dignity and individuality.
  • Prepare nutritious and appealing meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to sanitation standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in providing care to seniors or individuals with special needs is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medication management practices and safety protocols.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
