Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Williamson Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality obstetric and neonatal care, ensuring emotional support and education for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients within the designated timeframe, utilizing observation, communication, and examination skills to gather relevant data.
- Patient Care: Develop individualized care plans, identifying problems/needs, nursing diagnosis, standards of care/practice, interventions consistent with identified problems, and attainable outcomes.
- Medication Management: Safely handle, transport, store, prepare, and administer medications/solutions in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Documentation: Accurately and timely document patient information.
- Charge Responsibilities: Accept charge responsibilities and assign staff based on patient condition, care requirements, acuity, and complexity.
Requirements
- Licensed by the State of Tennessee.
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university.
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- At least one year perinatal experience preferred.
- Certified Lactation Consultant preferred.
- NRP certification within six months of hire.
- ACLS certification or agree to obtain within six months of hire.

Estimated Salary:
$68,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience.
