About the Role:
Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify their needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a team-based setting, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Modify and deliver care that is specific to the needs of the patient population, including age, culture, language, and other factors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Adhere to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy school.
- One to two years of clinical experience in an inpatient facility or home health agency (for cost center 6367 only).
- One to two years of pediatric occupational therapy experience or strong pediatric affiliation (for cost center 6368 only).
- Occupational Therapist License.
Working Conditions:
- Lifts a minimum of 50 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 100 lbs., and stands a minimum of 6 hours a day.
