Security Guard

Madlife Stage & Studios is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patrons, staff, and performers.

• Monitor access control and prevent unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
• Perform ticket scanning and verification, and direct guests to the correct venue.
• Identify and remove potential hazards to staff, artists, and guests.
• Address altercations between guests in a calm and professional manner.
• Lead artists and guests through emergency evacuation procedures and provide assistance and guidance.
• Perform behavior checks to prevent the admission of prohibited persons.
• Conduct ID checks to ensure guests are eligible for alcoholic service.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
• Enforce house rules regarding photography, interior smoking, line-jumping, and other disruptive guest behavior.
• Safeguard the building and property from theft and damage.
• Assist in the setup and takedown of the venue.

• Calm and patient demeanor.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Flexible schedule.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to read and write English fluently.
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs.
• Tolerance for fast-paced, potentially loud and crowded environments.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
