The POET Grain team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grain Merchandising Specialist to join our team.

As a Grain Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, formulating solutions to meet customer needs, and analyzing local supply and demand to buy grain at optimal price levels.

You will also be responsible for monitoring the competitiveness of cash bids, gathering market intelligence on competitor activities, and updating grain bids on web pages and apps daily.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and customer relations, with the ability to seek out and build strong customer relationships and grow and manage a sales territory.

You will be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneNote, and have the ability and willingness to learn new software applications.
