Openwork is seeking a dedicated Logistics Team Member/Lead to join our growing team.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials within our operations. Your responsibilities will encompass inventory management, order fulfillment, and the safe operation of various equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records.
  • Prepare and assemble job kits according to specifications.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting.
  • Operate a range of mobile equipment, including forklifts, golf carts, telehandlers, and overhead cranes, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Assist with loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper handling and securement.
  • Read and interpret pick tickets, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical drawings.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors regarding order status and any potential issues.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory management and job kitting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Valid driver's license and demonstrated ability to operate various types of mobile equipment safely.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, kneel, twist, walk, stand for extended periods, and climb.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
