Extruder Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Extruder Helper to support our production team at the Menasha Plant. As an essential member of our operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the Extrusion Department.

• Support production operations by performing tasks as assigned by the production team.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following all workplace regulations and policies.
• Monitor quality and waste for all orders being produced.
• Report on Statistical Process Control Data on the main attributes of the order being produced.
• Assist with troubleshooting defects and minor machine problems.

• Manufacturing experience is required, with experience in flexible packaging industry preferred.
• Ability to operate industrial power vehicles and work in a manufacturing environment with high-speed rotating parts.
• Detail-oriented and able to distinguish colors.
• Comfortable working with computers and using a ruler/measuring tape.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds and walking/standing for extended periods of time.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision and handle a wide variety of responsibilities in a timely manner.
