First Merchants Bank is seeking a highly skilled Mail and Print Associate to join our team. This role will focus on delivering exceptional customer service by completing all incoming work orders for customer requests and mail processing in a professional, accurate, and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Mail and Print Operations: Complete all incoming work orders and daily production within standard timeframes, ensuring that completed work is professional and acceptable for end customers.
- Equipment Operation: After training, operate production equipment, including printers, paper cutters, laminators, mail equipment, and other machinery.
- Supply Management: Ensure supplies and inventory are properly stocked, and order or work with purchasing teams when replenishment is necessary.
- Technical Skills: Display basic knowledge and competency of Microsoft Office/Suite products, Adobe products, and mail software.
- Troubleshooting: Provide basic troubleshooting on software and equipment utilized.
- Quality Control: Ensure proper protocols and procedures are followed when validating completed jobs, including verifying counts.
- Mail Distribution: Sort and distribute mail/packages to recipients throughout the building, and organize and coordinate mail that needs to go to other locations through courier networks.
- Job Rotation: Have basic competency of all functions in the Mail and Print Services area, and be able to rotate and fill in on other jobs when needed.
- Time Management: Show ability to work through multiple, shifting tasks and priorities with effective time management skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Physical Demands: Able to lift boxes/shipping materials up to 40-50 lbs, and stand for long portions of time and/or walk 1-3 miles daily.
- Mail or Print Experience: Previous experience in mail or print operations.
- Competitive Compensation: Base pay plus bonuses.
