Job Summary
The Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District is seeking a Para Educator to support our students and staff. As a Para Educator, you will work closely with teachers to provide instructional support and assist with student supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide instructional support to students, including guiding independent study, enrichment work, and remedial work as assigned by the teacher.
- Assist with student supervision, including lunch, snack, and cleanup routines.
- Carry out instructional behavioral programming planned by the teacher for individual students or groups of students.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Keyboarding and filing skills.
- Ability to develop positive, constructive relationships with students, staff, and the public.
- Experience working with children.
- Knowledge and experience in the use of micro-computers, word processing, and database systems.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is strongly preferred.
