Job Title: Credit and Collections Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit and Collections Specialist to join our finance team at Kurt J Lesker Company. As a key member of our team, you will support the credit and collections process using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), focusing on assessing creditworthiness, monitoring accounts receivable, and ensuring timely collections to maintain optimal cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:

Collections:

Facilitate the collections process to ensure timely payment of invoices
Reach out to customers with overdue accounts and negotiate payment plans when needed
Keep precise records of all collection activities and communications

Accounts Receivable:

Reconcile customer balances and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and distribute regular aging reports to management
Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues

Credit Management:

Assist in evaluating and analyzing the creditworthiness of new and existing customers
Help establish credit limits and terms in line with company policies
Regularly monitor and review customer credit limits

System Support:

Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) to manage credit and collections activities
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the D365 system
Participate in system upgrades and enhancements as needed
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the credit and collections process

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in credit and collections, preferably within a similar industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
