Job Title: Surgical Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Pathologist to join our team at Bernhardt Laboratories, a leading provider of anatomic pathology services in the United States.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic services in surgical pathology, including the examination of tissue specimens and the preparation of detailed reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anatomic pathology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Examine tissue specimens and prepare detailed reports
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure the highest level of diagnostic accuracy
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advances in anatomic pathology
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • Board certification in anatomic pathology by the American Board of Pathology
  • Subspecialty board certification or eligibility in a relevant area, such as surgical pathology or dermatopathology
  • Unrestricted medical licensure in Florida
  • Leadership experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture
