About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Veterans Health Administration team as a Pyschologist in our Mental Health Service Line at the Manchester VA Health Care System.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychologist to provide psychological services to our patients. As a Psychologist with our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide a variety of services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct biopsychosocial, diagnostic, and comprehensive mental health assessments.
  • Formulate and implement treatment plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Implement clinically indicated treatment modalities for a variety of psychiatric, medical, and social problems.
  • Provide education and referral for resources and benefits and post-intervention follow-up.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in psychology from a graduate program in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
  • Current professional psychology practice experience, with a focus on mental health services.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent patient care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
