We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team at the Fresno County Office Of Education. As a key member of our mental health team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to our students and community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to identify mental health needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address mental health concerns
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other school staff to provide support and resources for students
- Conduct group therapy sessions and provide individual counseling as needed
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in psychiatric care and participate in ongoing professional development
- Current and valid board certification in psychiatry (BC/BE American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology)
- Current and valid California state medical license as MD or DO
- Current and valid California DEA registration/license
- Current Malpractice/Liability Insurance $1,000,000/$3,000,000
- Medical Degree from an accredited medical school
- Successful completion of a psychiatric residency or a family medicine/psychiatry residency in an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) approved residency program and fellowship in child/adolescent psychiatry
