Job Overview

Kain Akeso Medical Holding, LLC is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician/Medical Assistant to join our team. As a radiology specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical facility.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced X-Ray Technician/Medical Assistant to perform radiological duties, assist physicians with patient care, and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take X-rays following established protocols for patient care and safety.
  • Protect patients, yourself, and staff from radiation exposure by adhering to sound procedures that meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Develop and process radiological film, obtain quality diagnostic radiographs, and maintain a repeat rate of two percent or less.
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and complies with applicable laws and regulations, reporting any malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Log completed radiological procedures, complete paperwork accurately and on time, and identify and file reports as required.
  • Maintain examination rooms, stock necessary office and radiological supplies, request, retrieve, and track films to and from other departments or centers.
  • Work closely with physicians to receive guidance and instruction for treating patients.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology sufficient to perform x-ray testing, as well as knowledge of radiology equipment, safety hazards common to radiology, and equipment problems.
  • Showcase excellent people skills, the ability to work well and effectively with others, and the capacity to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
  • Possess good oral and written communication skills in English, detail orientation, organization, flexibility in working hours, and the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of a course in limited-scope/basic/LMRT/NCT radiological course, and completion of a medical assistant program.
  • Avoid conflicts of interest, respect patients' rights to privacy and confidentiality, and adhere to guidelines concerning working hours and break periods.
Benefits

We offer a competitive base salary of $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on education, qualifications, and experience, plus opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment.
