Available Shifts:
We offer a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and per diem opportunities for Certified Nursing Aides (CNA).
Position Overview:
The Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) plays a crucial role in delivering direct care to residents, assisting the nursing team with daily living activities, and operating under the guidance of a licensed nurse. This position adheres to facility policies and promptly communicates resident needs and concerns to nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately document all resident-related activities as per facility guidelines.
- Notify licensed nurses of any changes in resident conditions, such as weight fluctuations or skin issues.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including feeding, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Collect vital signs and lab samples as directed by nursing staff.
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
- Participate in staff meetings and educational sessions to enhance skills.
- Engage residents in activities that promote a homelike atmosphere.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and respect residents' rights.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for all residents.
- Follow all facility policies and perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
