We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in the Aviation/Airports business line. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and constructing airport projects, ensuring the highest level of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct civil engineering design for airport projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, hangars, terminals, and other airport facilities.
  • Prepare construction specifications and plans for airport development projects, adhering to FAA and state requirements.
  • Collect and analyze data to support design and construction phases of projects.
  • Collaborate with other airport/civil engineering, architectural, and engineering disciplines, sub-consultants, utility companies, permitting agencies, contractors, government and regulatory agencies, and clients.
  • Perform construction administration and construction inspection, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon budget and schedule.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering degree + 4 years of related civil experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Ability to pass Federal background check for airport badging.
  • Valid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
  • US Citizenship required due to the projects associated with this position.
