We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Community Wellness Partners. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality resident care and support to our elderly residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and hygiene services to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting, as outlined in their individual care plans.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as eating, grooming, and mobility, while promoting their independence and autonomy.
- Document resident care and services provided, ensuring accurate and timely recording of vital signs, medications, and other relevant information.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring resident needs are met and exceeded.
- Respond promptly to resident calls and requests, providing emotional support and reassurance as needed.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills, adhering to regulatory requirements and facility policies.
- Graduate of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program
- Current Nursing Assistant Certification required
- Previous Geriatric CNA experience preferred
- Able to maintain confidential information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner
This is a full-time position, requiring flexibility and adaptability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays. The successful candidate must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds, and be in good health to cope with the mental and emotional demands of this role.
