Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Integrated Master Scheduler to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As an Integrated Master Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects by developing and maintaining detailed, resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain summary level schedule (Gantt) reports, milestone charts, and other program management tools used to support critical path analysis, near term tasks, priority-based resource allocations, performance variances
  • Prepare project and program status reports based on current and forecast schedules; implement and maintain schedule change control
  • Conduct and facilitate weekly IMS reviews with program team
  • Manage schedules, review project status, and understand how to assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
  • Actively monitor project progress with an emphasis on problem-solving
  • Follow schedule version control processes, policies, and procedures
  • Work in collaboration with project managers to drive efficiency in project execution and accuracy in project reporting
  • Prepare trend analysis to identify problem areas and submit recommendations for corrective actions
  • Perform schedule estimating and updating for new work and remaining work
  • Troubleshoot and monitor potential scheduling problems
  • Maintain accurate records/paperwork
  • Be willing to work outside of normal business hours as required to meet deadlines
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, or related discipline, or equivalent
  • IMS creation and scheduling experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects and pulling together multiple schedules into a master schedule and/or interfacing with other teams managing different schedules
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple shifting priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent Problem Resolution skills
  • Great team and client interaction skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain accurate and up-to-date complex schedules for multiple projects
  • Skilled in gathering, analyzing, documenting, and briefing information
  • Ability to effectively convey requirements, concerns, and capabilities to all levels of management in a clear and concise manner
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • MS Project Server experience (not required, highly desirable)
