Job Description

At Office Depot Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor - Key Carrier to join our team. As a Service Advisor - Key Carrier, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our Print Services area.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient operation of the Print Services area, operating and assisting associates on all equipment, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also be responsible for performing External Key Carrier duties, including ensuring the safety and security of the building and associates during the absence of the management team. You will also be responsible for performing opening and closing responsibilities, including driving awareness of key performance indicators and providing leadership to improve results.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Ensure efficient operation of the Print Services area
  • Operate and assist associates on all equipment
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Perform External Key Carrier duties
  • Ensure the safety and security of the building and associates during the absence of the management team
  • Perform opening and closing responsibilities

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent education
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a related field
  • Sales and/or Customer Service experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use technology for information and to access information necessary to complete the job
  • Skilled in Customer Service and Print Services experience
  • Must possess advanced selling skills
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be adaptable to a changing environment
  • Must be able to assist others in a professional environment
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess the ability to use technology applicable to the role and to access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities
  • Must possess the ability to process information/merchandise through the POS register system
  • Pays close attention to detail to ensure high quality production in the Print Services area
  • Positive and Engaging, Action Oriented and Integrity, Accountability & Trust
  • Demonstrate passion for the brand, products, services and solutions offered to our customers
  • Must possess a desire to continually develop personal selling skills and product knowledge

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule

Compensation Range = Minimum: $16.00 to Maximum: $17.71 (for Hourly/Non-Exempt roles)

You will be eligible to participate in the Retail Store Hourly Non-Management Incentive - a program measured on Store-level Metrics; paid in accordance with the Incentive Plan terms and conditions.
