Position Overview:

As a Medical Imaging Specialist at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region, you will:

  • Deliver exceptional patient care within the medical imaging department.
  • Conduct high-quality imaging and examinations while being sensitive to patient needs, adhering to safe radiation practices.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities and serve as a role model for fellow technologists.
  • Act as a clinical resource for students, staff technologists, and other healthcare personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with current standards of practice for the unit.

Work Schedule:

Friday - Sunday, 7pm - 7:30am.

Additional compensation includes $5.75/hr Night, $2.75/hr Evening, and $2/hr Weekend Differentials.

Medical Imaging Specialists at St. Anthony Hospital are eligible for a $2.50/hour differential in addition to their base pay and any other applicable shift differentials.


Qualifications:

In addition to bringing your unique talents to the workplace, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging, including Surgery and Trauma as necessary.
  • One year of post-certification experience to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Registered Technologist, Radiology-R.T. (R) (ARRT) certification required.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly.
