Key Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the founders and existing ML team to drive research, data acquisition, and model training from inception to completion.
  • Train large-scale language models, working primarily with models with extensive parameter counts.
  • Fine-tune models, optimize based on user preferences, and keep up with cutting-edge research in reinforcement learning for language models.
  • Read research papers, extract state-of-the-art methodologies, and integrate them into our development process.
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in setting up and training language models on multi-GPU infrastructures.
  • 6+ years working with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX, with at least 3+ years in a production environment.
  • Proven track record in machine learning, with a strong ability to innovate or improve existing ideas, ideally demonstrated through first-author publications or notable projects.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, with an appreciation for high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, focusing on quick MVPs over lengthy presentations.
  • Effective at communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passionate about the transformative potential of deep learning.
Bonus Points
  • Experience working across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams in a high-growth STARTUP environment.
  • Previous engineering experience in Data Engineering, LLM's, Gen AI, or cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure.
