This part-time academic instructor opportunity will teach various classes in engineering and technology fields, including AutoCAD, Revit, Building Inspection, Surveying, product design, and others. The Florissant Valley campus will be the primary location, but courses may be taught at other campuses as well.
The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or higher in an engineering or engineering technology field and three years of teaching or experience in the subject area. A bachelor's degree or higher is preferred, along with teaching experience at a community college and proficiency in a Learning Management System (Canvas preferred).
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. This figure is based on national averages for similar positions in the St. Louis area. Benefits include a generous time-off package, access to a wellness program, and an employee assistance program.
