Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, circuits, and plans, with the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams. They must also be able to schedule materials and equipment effectively, remain compliant with National and Local Electric Codes, and manage multiple crews simultaneously.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, modifying, and repairing all electrical distribution systems and associated equipment. They will also need to allocate resources for assigned projects, interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients, while maintaining high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
Required Skills & QualificationsTo be considered for this role, applicants must have at least 5-10 years of experience as an Electrical Foreman or Superintendent in a commercial/industrial setting. A valid driver's license and basic computer literacy are also required. Additionally, the successful candidate must be capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance, demonstrate knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, and be willing to travel.
The ideal candidate will also be able to pass an electrical aptitude test, background check, and drug screening. We value candidates who are proactive, communicative, and able to work well under pressure.
