Job Title: Assistant Manager

About the Role:

The Assistant Manager will play a key role in supporting the Operations Manager in achieving financial performance and revenue growth strategy for our assigned location(s). This includes understanding and leveraging knowledge of dental services in the local market, ensuring the execution of the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE), and providing leadership and guidance to achieve individual and team success.

Responsibilities:
  • Model Company Culture: Demonstrate company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework.
  • Act as Manager: Assume management responsibilities in the Operations Manager's absence.
  • Plan and Prepare Work Schedules: Create and assign work schedules for team members.
  • Develop Patient Communication Skills: Work with team members to develop successful patient communication skills and facilitate learning.
  • Execute PPE: Create team focus on the execution of the Owner Dentists Clinical Culture to support the PPE.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Assist in driving year-over-year revenue and profit growth.
  • Ensure Adherence to Protocols: Ensure adherence to cash management and accounting protocols.
  • Provide Feedback: Provide feedback on specific tactics that change financial and patient outcomes.
  • Maintain Facility Cleanliness: Ensure the office is following PDS standards in respect to facility cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Lead Daily Huddles: Lead and participate in daily huddles and all other meetings as required.
  • Demonstrate Stewardship: Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand, making decisions consistent with the PDS Brand framework.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Be a subject matter expert in executing PDS' processes, systems, and tools, while actively contributing to their improvement.
  • Catalyst for PPE: Be a catalyst for the Perfect Patient Experience and HC Handoff to gain Patients for Life.
  • Support Clinician Education: Support clinicians' education and referrals regarding the Mouth-Body Connection.
  • Maintain Professional Appearance: Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with Company policies, as well as State, Federal, and other regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior Course Work or On-the-Job Training: Prior course work or on-the-job training in the fields of dentistry, insurance, or business.
