Position Overview

Staffing Proxy is proud to present an opportunity for a dedicated and empathetic Audiologist to join a reputable multi-location private practice focused on audiology services. This role is designed for professionals who are passionate about enhancing the quality of life for individuals experiencing hearing challenges.

The successful Audiologist will be instrumental in diagnosing and managing hearing loss and tinnitus in adult patients. Key responsibilities encompass a range of diagnostic and therapeutic services, ensuring that patients receive personalized care tailored to their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough diagnostic evaluations for both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Diagnosing and providing effective treatment options for individuals suffering from tinnitus.
  • Administering Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) assessments and facilitating auditory training.
  • Performing Immittance testing, including tympanometry and acoustic reflex threshold assessments.
  • Managing ongoing patient care, including follow-up consultations, hearing aid adjustments, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Providing patient education and counseling based on diagnostic results, while developing tailored hearing care plans.
  • Engaging in outreach initiatives to foster positive relationships with colleagues, vendors, and community organizations.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate (AuD) or Master's Degree in Audiology, along with valid state licensure for audiology and hearing aid dispensing.
  • Interest in treating conditions such as tinnitus, hyperacusis, and misophonia is advantageous.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
