The successful Audiologist will be instrumental in diagnosing and managing hearing loss and tinnitus in adult patients. Key responsibilities encompass a range of diagnostic and therapeutic services, ensuring that patients receive personalized care tailored to their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting thorough diagnostic evaluations for both adult and pediatric patients.
- Diagnosing and providing effective treatment options for individuals suffering from tinnitus.
- Administering Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) assessments and facilitating auditory training.
- Performing Immittance testing, including tympanometry and acoustic reflex threshold assessments.
- Managing ongoing patient care, including follow-up consultations, hearing aid adjustments, repairs, and maintenance.
- Providing patient education and counseling based on diagnostic results, while developing tailored hearing care plans.
- Engaging in outreach initiatives to foster positive relationships with colleagues, vendors, and community organizations.
- Doctorate (AuD) or Master's Degree in Audiology, along with valid state licensure for audiology and hearing aid dispensing.
- Interest in treating conditions such as tinnitus, hyperacusis, and misophonia is advantageous.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
