Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Children's Health of Ocala. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the well-being of our young patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments for well visits and acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, including medical orders, prescriptions, and referrals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest diagnostic test results and coordinate notifications with patients and their families as needed.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on health-related issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using our electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to create and implement patient care plans.
- Demonstrate exceptional time management skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming bedside manner at all times.
- Work independently to make clinical decisions and take ownership of patient care.
Qualifications:
- Board-Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
