Job Summary

DTG Enterprises Inc is seeking a skilled Tractor Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment and trucks to transport materials and maintain our recycling yards.

Responsibilities
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate tractors, trucks, and other heavy equipment to transport materials and maintain our recycling yards.
  • Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the safe operation of equipment and identify any potential issues.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate logistics and ensure smooth operations.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately log and track loads, including hours worked, materials transported, and any issues encountered.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
  • Safety Protocols: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • CDL Class A: Possess a valid CDL Class A license.
  • Medical Card: Hold a current medical card.
  • Clean Driving Record: Maintain a clean driving record and background.
  • Ability to Work Overtime: Willingness to work overtime, including some Saturdays.
