Job Overview

The Decor Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of decor for The Cake Bake Shop, including both retail locations and storage facilities. This position requires a collaborative spirit, as the individual will work closely with the President/Owner to design, implement, and sustain seasonal decor themes, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic both inside and outside the establishments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and curate visually appealing decor that reflects the brand's identity and overall style.
  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure all decor logistics are clearly communicated prior to and during installation.
  • Partner with the Executive Team to uphold safety standards, ensuring all decor elements are suitable for public areas.
  • Manage the setup, arrangement, and removal of decor for seasonal transitions.
  • Organize and maintain decor items in the designated warehouse, following the Executive Team's guidelines.
  • Oversee the maintenance and presentation of decor throughout the year, replacing items as necessary and reporting significant needs to the President/Owner.
  • Conduct quality control assessments on all decor items.
  • Utilize inventory management systems to track and maintain decor supplies, identifying items that require reordering.
  • Assist at decor trade shows by managing items of interest and coordinating purchases.
  • Collaborate with the President/Owner to align on vision and objectives for upcoming decor changes.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a focus on prioritization and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite applications.
  • Physical capability to lift items weighing over 50lbs.
